Recruiting
If you need help with recruiting members, the “Pathfinder” Toolkit is here: Introduction to the Recruitment and Retention Toolkit (u3a.org.uk). The Trust can give advice and ideas on publicity & recruitment.
Finding Speakers
Find a u3a Speaker helps u3a members who are also speakers, to share their talks with other u3as - which they give FREE of charge. Does your u3a have an entertaining speaker prepared to go on the list?
The u3a has an active national AI (Artificial Intelligence) group that runs local events online, in person or as hybrid meetings. They offer free speakers (travel expenses only) on a range of AI topics, and training for groups.
AI may be of interest to u3a members generally, or to Current Affairs, Philosophy, Art and Language groups as well as Science, Technology and Computing groups.
Contact the u3a subject advisor, Barry Claydon via the Subject Advisor page: https://subjectadvisers.u3asite.uk/ai-for-everyone-subject-adviser/
Subject Advisors are u3a members who want to increase the interest in their subject and share their knowledge. Contact them! See u3a - Subject Advice
